You are invited to attend the first Vancouver Lower Mainland facial palsy support group. Please RSVP your attendance by January 17, 2020 to give us enough time to organize snacks.
*Susan Rankin, Facial and Vestibular Therapist, will be facilitating this first session.*
Snacks will be provided. In order to help the environment, please bring a mug if you’d like tea or coffee.
During this first gathering, you will have an opportunity to:
- share your story with others who can relate to you
- hear other people’s stories
- ask questions about the conditions that cause facial palsy
- exchange tips and ideas for dealing with long term residuals
- get a hug if you need it
- talk about what you want to see in future sessions
We are excited to have an opportunity to meet others dealing with Bell’s Palsy, Ramsay Hunt Syndrome and other conditions contributing to facial palsy.
NOTE: Virtual attendance may be available in subsequent sessions for out of town warriors. Stay tuned for next session information.
“I have had the benefit of meeting a few local warriors in person and on the phone who are dealing with varying degrees of recovery. I can tell you it has been very healing for me to know I’m not alone and to talk to someone who totally understands me.” – Cristina Toso
