On December 30, 2011 I experimented with Skype for treating a facial patient from out of town. Once we got the lighting adjusted, it all went very well. She was able to see me modeling facial expressions and I was able to see all the subtle movements on her face. There was no time lag so it felt very similar to being in the same room. Although an initial assessment would be required in person, Skype follow-up appointments for treating facial patients are a good alternative for out of town people. Let me know if you’re interested in this option.
